22% seems like a small percentage, but only 10% of South Africa’s land is arable. If you’re talking straight ownership through redistribution, then it’s irrelevant, but if you’re looking at productive, income generating farmland, then this figure becomes important.
I don’t agree with redistribution, I just think that the figures should be taken in context.
If you ate today, thank a farmer.
